News - Local MP visited the Hospice on Christmas Eve

The Rt. Hon. Ann Widdecombe MP paid her last official visit to the Hospice on Christmas Eve.

During her visit Miss Widdecombe met several ward staff and spent time with patients and their families. She said “I am delighted to have had such a long association with The Heart of Kent Hospice and will miss my Christmas visits to the Hospice. I am hoping to hear about any developments at the Hospice and hope it goes from strength to strength, as it has done over the years.”

Kate Bosley, Chief Executive at the Hospice expressed her thanks to Miss Widdecombe for her visit and said “It was a pleasure to see Miss Widdecombe at the Hospice this Christmas, which has now become a tradition. We have very much appreciated her support over the years.”
